Brian Ragle is a writer, photographer, and filmmaker based in Tennessee. His work tends to go where the official version of events runs thin.
His writing covers the institutional ancestry of American authoritarianism, the theological scaffolding of political violence, the economics of AI hype, and the long history of powerful people doing predictable things and calling it unprecedented. He is not particularly impressed. His photography and film work come from the same instinct: show up, pay attention, document what’s actually there.
He spent years writing on Medium before building this site because he got tired of someone else owning his work. The archives are here now. The opinions remain his own.
He is interested in science, technology, and religion, in roughly that order of reliability.
